At Cedar Key Aquaculture Farms, we've taken a major step forward in premium clam processing with the installation of our new state-of-the-art IQF spiral blast freezer — capable of flash freezing over 10,000 pounds per hour.
This advanced freezing technology allows us to lock in freshness immediately after harvest and processing, delivering a frozen clam product that cooks, opens, tastes, and performs remarkably similar to a fresh clam — while now offering up to 12 months of shelf life.
